Craving a getaway but want to stay safe? With ongoing COVID-19 worries, I know what you mean. Try trading in a city center hotel room for a remote North Carolina treehouse! Here are 5 North Carolina treehouses on Airbnb you can book today.

Carolina Treehouse | Charlotte

I can say from personal experience that this treehouse is unforgettable and worth every penny! The Carolina Treehouse comes with an outdoor shower, swing bed, kayaks, and beautiful decor. It’s the perfect oasis tucked just outside of Charlotte. Get all the details (and photos) of my stay here!

Treefrog Tower | Nags Head

A treehouse at the beach? Yes, please! Nestled within Jockey’s Ridge State Park, this unique North Carolina treehouse comes with the sweet smell and breeze of the ocean! The decor looks modern and clean and it’s located near both hiking trails and the beach! Perfect social distancing activities if you ask me.

Treetop Retreat | Hillsborough

Just minutes from Chapel Hill, this secluded oasis in Hillsborough is a quiet spot to harness your creativity. It features elegant & colorful decor that landed it on the pages of Southern Living Magazine. Enjoy a good book on the porch or explore the nearby hiking trails.

Raven Rock Treehouse | Asheville

This North Carolina treehouse is definitely on my list! Hopefully heights don’t bother you, because this treehouse is perched atop a tree with a spiral staircase as your only point of entry. You’ll need All-Wheel drive to get there, and you’ll also need to be cool with a Porta Potty. Other than that, get ready for amazing views and a true getaway in every sense of the word. (No electricity!)

Luxury Timber Treehouse | Concord

For everything you get, this treehouse seems like an amazing deal! Situated on a farm, you’ll have access to a fire pit, pool, hot tub, hammock, and of course, some adorable furry farm friends. The charming farmhouse decor feels straight out of a Fixer Upper episode making this the perfect peaceful getaway under the North Carolina pines.
